Carlos felt the cold bite of the razor, and knew he had to do something. He was strongly against mentally forcing anyone’s will, but she was threatening them with her life. Carlos took control easily, now fully experiencing the world through Angel’s eyes. He was holding the razor. He began to pull his hand away, and felt the bite of something at him. Angel was fighting back.
“No!” he/she snapped, narrowing her eyes. “You cannot do this, you will not do this!” and then he felt the distant call in his head.
He was needed. Lexi needed him.
Carlos/Angel put the razor down, no, threw it into the toilet bowl and flushed. There were too many dangerous objects in this house.

Alden was enraged that Lilith had pushed him away, and stared in horror as his father snarled viciously at her. He looked disgusting, with his drool running down his chin and his hair matted as if he hadn’t seen a comb in days. Alden got up from the dusty desert yard, and ran forward with the bat. He wedged it between Lilith and Alex, and pried her off. Alex reacted faster than Alden expected, leaping up and kicking out at the hand Lilith held the gun in. It skittered away, out of reach, use and hope. He turned to Alden; his eyes were black, and cold. Alden swallowed; his throat had become dry and felt as if it would crumble. Alex was pale, skinny, and skeletal looking. His fingers were too long, his face a mask of hatred and ugliness. There was no longer the model, family oriented man there. Not at all. Alden could not take his eyes off those ivory fangs, the size of knives now. Alex’s breath came out in ragged, perverse breaths.

Carlos reacted for both himself and Angel. Angel/Carlos were fighting, trying to gain mental control over the other, and Carlos was running down the stairs, in time to see…

…Alex grabbed Alden by the throat, long nails digging in the soft vulnerable flesh. Alden winced, but said nothing. Carlos came out just as Alden let out a low whine, Alex had already bit him, and he felt faint.
Carlos took the bat and gave Alex a proper smack to the head.
Alex let out a reedy shriek, letting the boy go and snarling at Carlos, his brows knit together in fury.

Carlos looked at the others, to see if they were fine. Like a sinister crab, Alex scuttled to where Lexi lay, picking her up and looking directly at Carlos. Carlos stepped after him, the bat swinging in his hand. It had a dent in it where it struck Alex, hair and blood clung to it. Alex didn’t seem remotely human anymore, he was acting like a creature, and he even looked like one now, the way he stepped aside as Carlos approached. Carlos was growing increasingly scared, but would not show it. Alex held lexi lightly, lovingly, but the emptiness of his eyes made Carlos want to scream.

“Put her down,” he said, in an amazingly smooth voice.
Alex laughed, looking over at Lexi.
“Don’t say anything to her!” Carlos screamed.
Alex had been feeding her mental signals the whole time, trying to confuse her mind.
He stroked her cheek, mocking.
Carlos ran forward, and made a grab. Lexi tumbled aside, as Carlos grappled with Alex. Carlos was much stronger and bigger, but he wasn’t experiencing bloodlust, so he could not fully match the intensity in which Alex fought. They scrabbled and clawed, each trying to snap at the other’s throat. Finally, Alex somehow managed to slide from his grip. He ran, faster than the others could see, right for Alden. Like nothing had ever happened. Alex and Alden were gone.

Carlos grabbed Lexi and pulled her to his chest. He released the grip on Angel’s mind.

Angel Stared in the Mirror as She Saw the Crimision red Streak Drip down her throat Where the Razor was About to Dig in.. She stared Down at her now Empty Hand.. A few Tears Dripped Down Her Face as She Slowly Sauntered into the Bedroom.. Sitting Down and pulling a hand gun out that He had Given her just in case something bad happened. She Loaded the Gun, hearing the thump of Alex.. But.. Somethin had happened.. Someone was With him. She put the Gun tucked Away In the Back of her Jeans.
"Alex?"
She asked Gently.. Seeing Alden With him.. her heart Dropping.. h..he Didn't look Good. She instantly pulled the gun out.
"What the hell did you do to my son?"
She Said in a Loud Snarl as She Ran over to Alden, keeping the gun pointed at Alex..
"Baby boy.."
She said Gently as She Pulled Alden To her Chest.
"come on baby.. answer me... please.."
She said Gently.

Lilith Went to Go Attack Alex But he was Gone... with her nephew... He was Going to Kill that Bastard.. She turned to Carlos.
"How Do we Stop him Before he does something to my Family?"
She said As She turned around.. her heart Sinking a bit.
"Ca..Caleb.."
She whispered Gently running up the Stairs, Busting into their bedroom.
"CALEB?"
She called out.

Velexia felt a confusion in her mind. Carlos was holding her, he was protecting her from Alex. She felt him stroke her cheek lovingly, but that was not Carlos' hand. This was Alex that was holding her. She screamed inside and felt relieved when she was knocked away.

Suddenly rough hands grabbed her.

Carlos... Her mind sighed in relief.

Lexi tucked herself into his chest. She was scared. Her eyes were open now, the blue depths were fathomless, and she just stared straight forwards , looking somewhere passed Carlos. She realized belatedly that she was shaking. Stupid weakness... her mind mumbled at her.

Alden collapsed into his mother’s arms, familiar scents engulfing him. His throat had two large holes in them, which were closing quickly. Beside them, Alex let out a soft laugh. He pressed two fingers against the muzzle of the gun, a sick smile spread across his face. Alden couldn’t look directly at him, he was terrified. He trembled, and coughed. Blood spilled forward, from his mouth and onto Angel’s shirt, staining her red. He continued to cough and heave, blood coming as if he had ebola or something. Alex seemed interested, and pulled Angel away, the only gentle thing he had done for a while. Alden shuddered, convulsed, but didn’t make any sound. The only thing heard was the creak and whine of his braces, which began to twist and turn as his canines grew impossibly long.
Inside, Alden was screaming.

Carlos closed his eyes, rubbing his hand along a jagged scar on his forearm. “Well, I have to keep you protected first. I have a plan, but it won’t work unless the rest of you are safe,” he said, watching Lilith run off to find Caleb. Carlos turned to Lexi, eyeing her cautiously. He could see traces of Alex, flits of his fading aura here and there.
“Are you okay?” he asked, looking closely. “Go get Miranda, and Dylan, and stay with both of them,” he said, looking out towards the horizon, which was completely blue-black by now.

Caleb snapped his head up, he had somehow fallen asleep. He felt dizzy, groggy, as if he had been hit in the head. Lilith swam before him, and he let out a soft groan.
He could not remember what had happened.
“Why am I on the floor?” he asked, narrowing his eyes.

Angel Stared at her Son as Alex held Her back.
"Whats Happening!?"
She questioned Loudly as She tried to pull from his Arms.
"Whats Going on with my son?"
She said as She looked to Alex..
"W...What happened... W..W.What Did you Do to him?"
She said Gently.. She Tried to find the Gun but Couldn't. She wondered If this Would Show Alden how much She loved him and Cared For him. She Would kill Alex Jut to Make Alden Better. She would destroy Her true love for her son.

She Sighed a Happy Sigh Of Relief..
"Thank god... Hi hunny.. you Can Carlos Had a Big Fight.. Alex turned my Sister into a monster and then Did the Same To Alden and tried with Lexi.."
She put on her Brave Face.. Wanting him to stay Calm and if She stayed Calm she Knew He would.
"I love you."
She whispered as She Got Down on the FLoor with him, Holding him to her and kissing His Lips Deeply.
"God I love you a lot."

Velexia shook her head, she felt dizzy, confused, and different.

"I don't know. I feel weird. Like different some how." She whispered as she sat up and quickly fell back into his arms. "Gods I'm so dizzy." She muttered to herself. "MIRANDA!" She shot back up to once again fall. "Is she okay, Alex didn't get to her did her?" Lexi's eyes were frantic with worry as she searched Carlos' face. Her heart started to race as she thought of that monster getting near her daughter.

Caleb was taken aback slightly, it wasn't everyday where they had a huge argument and then Lilith flipped like this. But he could sense something in the air, as if it had been tainted somehow, by some other presence.

The braces had wrenched themselves from Alden's teeth and lay in a twisted metal heap on the floor. Alden had collapsed against his mother, shaking and sobbing softly, drooling and salivating because his fangs would not allow him to close his mouth. Alex watched with some interest, and then turned away without answering. He had other things to attend to. Other people, anyway. He closed his eyes, sending a flash of confusing thoughts to Lexi's mind.

Carlos grabbed Lexi's hand,steadying her. "Yes, she's fine," he said, wishing he could simply kill Alex now and leave. He wanted to, desperately.

Angel Held tight to her son for the first time since he was 10.. tears fell down her face as she whispered in Alden's Ear.
"It will all be over soon..."
She whispered as She Raised the gun, aiming at Alex's Back.
"you are not my Husband..."
She whispered Softly as She closed her eyes and squeezed the trigger, shooting at him, The whole clip unloaded but she kept the trigger squeezed As tears Fell down her face, not wanting to open them to see if she hit him.. she was directly aiming at him but lord knows if she did.

Lil Looked down at Caleb.. He wasn't really responsive.. She sighed gently when He didn't kiss back and Just stared at her.. She Got up and looked through their Closet.. truth was they had been having a Slight Seperation lately. They hadn't been having sex that much.. they hadn't Been romantic as much.. I mean sex was maybe One every other day.. She Cleared her throat and Got him a New Outfit so she could change out of his work clothes.
"Here Hunny.."
She said Lightly as She sat on the bed, holding the Clothes, that way he would have to interact with her. She wondered if Her Daughter was still Shaken up.. but she knew that she would come into the bedroom if she was too afraid and needed her.

"Okay." Velexia closed her eyes for a minute and took a deep breath. She still had a feeling as if her head was one of those tilt-a-whirls at the county fair. "Gods, what did Alex do to me." She still felt like she was going to pass out, she didn't know how, but somehow she knew that it should have worn off by now. Just as she asked this Miranda came outside, she had been awoken through all the racket.

"Mommy, I saw what that son of a bitch did!"

"Miranda Alexandrea! Watch your language!" She said in a sharp tone, she didn't yell, no yelling would have hurt her head too much.

"Well I did. Dad, personally I think you should rip that son---SOB's head off." Miranda said, a wicked gleam in her eye. God was she her father's daughter.

"She get's this from you, you know." Lexi said with a little laugh as she looked at Carlos.

Carlos looked at Miranda, and couldn't suppress his grin. He could see himself in her, and could almost smell the uninhibited anger running through her blood. A monster in the making, like him. Suddenly, he turned to Lexi.
"Has she ever shown violence towards small animals, or maybe even other children?" he asked, fearing the worst.
Nothing worse than a child who was easily as awful him.

The gun let off six explosions, and Alden flinched against his mother every time. Finally, silence seemed to scream out at them. When he slowly looked up, he nearly suffocated on a cry. Alex stood, his face pulled back into a hideous grimace. His fangs protruded and blood mixed with drool ran slowly down his flawless pale chin. His left eye sparkled bright black, while the other was a gaping hole, twisted and caked with blood. But it was....regenerating! Slowly, his sking formed together, a new eyebrow appearing as perfect as the other. Then, a new eyeball formed, black irises staring out coldly at them. Blood clung to the side of his head.
Plink, plink, plink
The bullet casings fell one by one to the floor, like worms lodging from their holes.
Alden sputtered incoherently, eyes wide with disbelief.

She Looked Up and Watched. She Held Tight To Alden.. Knowing Alex Would Come After her.
"Alden.. Baby.. Stay Out of the Way No matter What Happens.. And I want you To just Run far far away if Anything happens ok?"
She said as Held Tighter To Her Son, Refilling the Clip and Slowly Starting to Back up Down The Stairs To the Front Door.. Knowing She Could Get away then Take Care of everything when She was Far Enough away.

Lilith Sighed and Looked Down at the Clothes. A Few tears Fell Down Her Face but She Quickly Brushed them away, putting her Strong Face On.
"The Clothes are on the bed..."
She said Gently as She Set the Clothes Down and walked Out onto the Balcony... She Gazed at the Soon Setting Sun. She had put Carlos Away in her Heart... She Saw him as A friend/brother.. and caleb.. caleb Didn't even care. She Sighed gently, closing her eyes.. maybe he didn't want her Anymore.. Maybe he wanted one of the young students that he would teach hear at the house.. Dylan Would probably End up staying with her Father if they Did Divorce.. Lil would Be too busy at work to Be the Responsible parent she needed to be.. and Caleb had more time With Dylan.. She Stared At the Horizon... God.. when did things Get so bad?

"No, don't worry. She has three cats that she takes care of, she absoultely loves animals. She takes after me too you know, although you can't see it as much as you in her. But different things she'll do, it reminds me of me when we were together as teens." Velexia smiled up at Carlos and kissed him softly and then looked at Miranda. "Everything will be taken care of, you need not worry yourself, although I know you will, your too much like me." Velexia laughed at her daughter.

Alex's lip curled slowly, so they could see his pale pink almost white gums, as his fangs jutted from them. Alden had nearly fallen backwards down the stairs, unable to look away from the monster in front of them. Alex lowered himself into a crouch, his skin glistening white as if a cold light had been turned on inside of him. His nails were long and blackened, like claws, which dug into the carpet and made it fray. His face..skin pulled taut over his skull, his hair too long and shaggy, and the predatory movement of his body drew their eyes in.
Alden leapt in front of Angel, as he saw the way Alex stared at her. He bared his own, not-so large but still dangerous fangs, a feral snarl ripping from his throat. Alex seemed slightly taken aback, but recovered so well Alden didn't have time to think. Every muscle in his body was wired tight and energized by fear and adrenaline. Alex leapt out, his body graceful and sinister like a large cat, eyes flashing in the bright light. Alden immedeatly leapt out to meet him, driven by some new power and other mental force controlling him. They slashed at each other with claws, angry growls coming from both of them. Alden clamped his teeth into the soft meat in Alex's shoulder, and Alex kicked him in the gut. They rolled away from each other, panting and still in the crouching position. Alden stayed in front of Angel, knowing he'd have to protect her with his own life.

Carlos smiled, pleased that his daughter did not have such murderous tendencies. He kissed Valexia on the cheek and couldn't help but listen in on the faint thoughts in Caleb's head. He could no longer reach Angel, but he was sure she was still alive. But Caleb...
Carlos swept inside quickly, going upstairs and gently pushing Lilith aside. He stood over Caleb, his eyes flashing.
"How could you do that? To your own wife and child?!" he shouted into his brother's startled face.
Recognition flashed in the brown eyes, and Caleb scuttled back then stood up. He was shorter, and less breathtaking then Carlos, but still handsome. Carlos simply had the worn, ragged yet beautiful appearance of a demigod.
"What?What are you talking about?" Caleb asked
Carlos ignored him, turning to Lilith.
"He's been cheating on you..with a sixteen year old...slut. She comes here when you're at work and they spend the whole day together, fucking like rabbits." the anger in his voice was emanent, and carlos swore he heard a cold laugh in his head.He felt sick, and terribly sorry for Lilith. He didn't want to know, or see, or be any of this at all. Not a bit.

Angel Pressed Herself Against the Wall as She Watched... tears Falling Down her Face.. not wanting to see her son get Hurt.. She Shot At Alex Again' Getting him in the Face, knowing it would Give Alden Enough time For them Both to run away.. Far away.. then they Could get to Somewhere and Figure Out how to kill Alex...

Lilith's Eyes went Dim.. dead.. Completely Lifeless... For the First time since they Were kids, Lil Broke down. Tears Fell From her eyes.. her Head pounding as her Body began to shake. She looked to Caleb.. She Couldn't speak..
"I..I..i knew it.."
She said softly.. She took her Ring off, setting it in his palm.
"you Have Chosen Caleb.. and I guess I cant make you happy anymore.. and If you want a Girl younger than your Daughter who has Slept around With everyone in the Class.. I thought you loved me Caleb.. You..you made a Vow to me.."
Her Voice Choked as She Cried Harder than Ever, Hugging Carlos..
"Thank you.."
She said as She Packed Some Clothes and Sighed..
"Im going to the Motel For the night.. Go ahead and keep Dylan.. I will Take Visiting Rights, I work too much to Be around for her."
her Voice.. her Body.. her SPirit.. it was Broken.. It was Gone.. all of it. She Was Clearly Not the same. She was Just a Broken Down mess. She sighed and Looked to Caleb.
"I Will come get the rest of my things When I actually Can look at you.."
She said as she walked into her Daughters room, Kissing Her Forehead.
"Bye baby..."
She said Softly as She Walked out of her Room, heading out the Front Door Getting in the car and heading To a Motel. once there she Got a Room for 3 months.. Long enough to where She Could Get everything up and Running. She Put her Clothes Away.. Sitting on the Bed.. staring at the Wall.. She wondered How her Sister Was Doing.. wondering what went wrong in her Marriage.. She Stared At her Empty Ring finger, Collapsing on the Bed, Going into a Heap of Tears and Shaking, Curling into a Tight Ball.

Velexia watched Lilith run out, she had went inside and heard everything Carlos said.

"Lil, if you need anything, anything at all, call me." Lexi said and watched Lilith go in sadness. Sure they had had issues when they were teens. But they were past those childish games now. She walked over to where Miranda was, she had followed Carlos inside. "Baby, stay here." Miranda did as she was told, her mother had a furious temper and she found it was just better if she did.

Velexia walked upstairs to where Caleb and Carlos were. She walked over and slapped Caleb across the face, the loud crack resounded in the silent bedroom.

"How in the fuck could you do that to Lilith. After all you've been through. After she's gave and gave. What in the hell were you thinking Caleb!?" Lexi yelled.
